3, 2, 1, go!
Experiment 1:
- Put the Minifigures on your bobsled and test how far it'll go.
- Use a yardstick to measure the distance your bobsled traveled.
- On your worksheet or a similar chart in your notebook, record the distance traveled.
- Do 3 test runs.
- Record the distance your bobsled traveled each time, and then circle the middle distance.
Faster!
Experiment 2:
- Now, test your bobsled with the black block that you've built. Mark your prediction for how far it'll travel.
- Do 3 test runs.
- Record the distance your bobsled traveled each time, and then circle the middle distance.
Faster... faster!
Experiment 3:
- Now, compare the heavy black brick to the black block you've just tested.
- Again, use a brick to mark your prediction.
- Test 3 times to see if you were right.
- Don’t forget to record the distance each time and circle the middle distance.
What did you see?
- Which forces did you observe?
- Did you see any patterns?
