Learning through Play is the Key to Engaged Learners
LEGO® Education conducted a global survey of over 6,000 administrators, teachers, parents, and students to uncover what engages, inspires, and builds confidence in students and educators. Spoiler alert: learning through play emerged as the key to driving up engagement in classrooms. The report found the following:
84% of US administrators believe engaging students in learning through play increases test scores, and 83% believe it increases attendance rates.
Students who are more engaged in learning are:
- 4x happier
- 5x more confident
- 3.5x more interested in learning
83% of teachers say they would be happier at their job if students were more engaged in learning, and less likely to leave the profession.
